Over 75 Health Assessment

A health assessment is an opportunity for your doctor (with the help of the Practice Nurse!) to take a detailed look at such things as your general health, including sight, hearing, diet, sleep, immunisations, and any medication you might be taking. It also enables us to discuss any help you may be receiving at home (e.g. home help, meals on wheels) or whether you need any further assistance.

Our aim is to enable you to enjoy better health for longer!
The health assessment will initially be with our Practice Nurse. This usually takes around 45 minutes or so and then your GP will see you straight after for a further discussion. At this time, you can discuss any recommendations to help you maintain or improve your health and to prevent health problems in the future.
