We’re thrilled to welcome Dr Ganizani Mlawanda to our team! 

Dr Mlawanda is a compassionate, supportive, and patient-focused GP who builds affinity and trust with people from all backgrounds, ages, and life circumstances. 

With an exceptionally high level of training, expertise, and decades of experience, Dr Mlawanda strives to provide the highest quality of health care to improve patient wellbeing through complete investigation, evaluation, and treatment. 

Set to arrive on the 15th of April for orientation to the Practice and to settle into the community, Dr Mlawanda will commence consultations from the 22nd of April in a full-time, permanent capacity. 

We are delighted to have Dr Mlawanda join the Practice and excited to see the positive impact of health care for the people of Quorn and surrounding District.

About the business

For over 30 years, the Quorn Medical Practice (formerly Kanyaka Surgery), has been providing continuous quality medical care to the community and district of Kanyaka-Quorn. Located on Hospital Road in Quorn, the Practice provides comprehensive, high-quality medical services, by our experienced and friendly staff.
Quorn Medical Practice is a fully accredited practice and has recently secured a permanent GP.

We are now expanding our team and seeking practice nurses to join us on a part time basis. The role offers full flexibility and can be taken up as a job share arrangement to compliment a great work life balance. The medical practice offers excellent working conditions, attractive salary and access to relocation assistance through RDWA up to $5,000

Our ideal candidate will have:

  • Qualifications as a Registered General Nurse (RN) with the Australian Health Providers Registration Authority (AHPRA).
  • Current practicing certificate
  • Current CPR certificate
