We Provide Best Health Care for Your Family
For over 30 years, the Quorn Medical Practice (formerly Kanyaka Surgery), has been providing continuous quality medical care to the community and district of Kanyaka-Quorn.
Located on Hospital Road in Quorn, the Practice provides comprehensive, high-quality medical services, by our experienced and friendly staff.
Patients are seen by appointment Monday to Friday unless otherwise indicated, and tele-health consults are available to patients who are not able come to the practice and requires brief consultations.

of Quorn and surrounding districts. As a well-established and fully accredited practice, we strive to provide the

• Seeking a Practice Nurse (Registered or Enrolled)
• Full time or Part-time position
• Located in Quorn
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Practice Nurse to join our community focused rural practice.
This is an excellent opportunity for a nurse who values continuity of care, strong client relationships and making
a genuine difference in a close-knit community.
Working as part of a supportive team you will provide high quality nursing care across a range of general
practice services. The role suits an Enrolled or Registered Nurse who enjoys variety, autonomy and meaningful
engagement with patients of all ages. The medical practice offers excellent working conditions, attractive
salary, salary packaging and access to relocation assistance through RDWA up to $5,000 for eligible graduate
candidates.
Our ideal candidate will have :
A passion for delivering exceptional patient centered care in a rural primary healthcare setting
Previous nursing experience (general practice or community-based setting desirable but not essential)
A current practicing certificate and AHPRA registration
Current first aid certificate including CPR
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver high quality patient centered nursing care
- Support GPs with clinical procedures and treatment plans
- Chronic disease management and health assessments
- Immunisations, wound care, care planning and health promotion
- Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders in the practice and community
- Maintain accurate clinical records and compliance standards

Practice Manager - Full-time - Quorn or Yorketown, SA
Country and Outback Health Medical Practices consists of the Quorn and Yorketown Medical Practices, both providing high quality healthcare services to the rural community. The practices are fully accredited and have a full complement of permanent staff.
About the role
- Full-time (76 hours per fortnight, Mon - Fri)
- Location: Quorn or Yorketown (will have to travel to both locations)
- Have access to a company pool car.

CLIENT INFORMATION
Easy access to the surgery is available for people with a disability via the undercover car park side entrance.
All patients are now required to see their doctor for repeat prescriptions, even if a script is lost.
On call GP will be available for after hour emergencies through hospital. Please contact hospital on 86 487 888 for assessment.
Accounts must be settled at the time of consultation. Please contact us directly for information on gap fees payable.
Some patients are eligible for a discounted rate and are bulk-billed for each visit. These patients include:
- Aged Pensioners
- Health Care Card Holders
- When clinically indicated, patients are referred to a range of specialist services in Port Augusta and Whyalla.
- Patients can be referred to Adelaide for more specific specialist services or at the request of individual patients.
- A referral letter must be picked up from the surgery and taken to the specialist appointment.
- PATS (Patient Assistance Transport Service) forms are available to help with the cost of specialist appointments in Adelaide and Whyalla.
Waiting times are occasionally unavoidable due to emergency cases. In order to avoid unnecessary delays, patients are requested to:
• Ask for a long consult for a medical examination/report or complicated problems.
• Ask for multiple appointments if more than 1 person requires seeing the doctor.
• Minimise telephone interruptions by indicating to the receptionist the brief reason for wanting to speak to the doctor. The doctor will only take emergency calls. Others will be returned at a later time.
